The Lions avoided a blackout for Sunday's game against the Rams thanks to Gardner-White Furniture.

The team announced Friday that the sellout was completed when the furniture store bought 800 tickets. The game will now air live in local TV markets.

Lions president Tom Lewand said fans purchased a "significant portion" of the remaining tickets, which made it possible for the team to partner with Gardner-White to complete the sellout.

The Lions are 0-4 this season but three of the losses have been by five or fewer points, and the three losses were by a total of 10 points.
