Undrafted rookie QB Max Hall will replace Derek Anderson as the Cardinal's starting quarterback.
Hall replaced the struggling Anderson late in the first half of Arizona's Week Four loss to the Chargers, following two Anderson interceptions before the break.
While the BYU-product hasn't been off the charts in his short time with the team, the switch had been expected because of Anderson's poor play.
The way we see it
Hall (9-for-16, 85 yards, one interception) doesn't have the greatest numbers, but the change makes sense considering Anderson has turned the ball over five times already this year. If he doesn't wind up being the solution at quarterback, Arizona has a third quarterback, rookie John Skelton, ready and waiting for a chance.
It should be interesting to see if Hall can develop chemistry with WR Larry Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald has just 19 catches for 208 yards after being one of the NFL's top receivers in years past.
