Here's a closer look at a matchup to watch in Sunday's Falcons-Browns game:

Falcons DRE John Abraham vs. Browns OLT Joe Thomas

This is the first time these players have squared off in a regular-season game, and it should be a good test for both of them.

Abraham, 32, has seven tackles and two sacks in four games this season. The Atlanta pass rush, which was a cause for concern entering the season, has notched eight sacks overall, which is just slightly below the league average. Abraham, the Falcons' most accomplished pass rusher, is strong and athletic.

Thomas, 25, has developed into one of the game's top all-around tackles. According to the Browns, he has never missed an offensive snap.

Keep an eye on this one-on-one matchup in the running game, as the Browns have employed a grind-it-out approach lately and figure to pound away at the Atlanta defense with 250-pound RB Peyton Hillis.
