Cardinals rookie QB Max Hall relieved starter Derek Anderson late in the first half of Arizona's 41-10 loss to the Chargers in Week Four and played solid, completing 8-of-14 passes for 82 yards, despite being sacked six times. Head coach Ken Whisenhunt has yet to name a starter for their Week Five game vs. the Saints.

Whisenhunt told Phoenix radio station KTAR that it would be "premature" to name a starting QB until he has watched film with his offensive players and staff. He likely will make an announcement later in the week.

The way we see it

Anderson has been so awful (19-of-40 passing, 186 yards, two TDs, three interceptions the past two weeks) that Whisenhunt has no choice but make a change. Expect Hall to be the starter when the Cards take the field vs. the defending champs on Sunday.
