Saints CB Tracy Porter is expected to miss 2-4 weeks after an apparent MCL injury in his left knee, reported PFW correspondent Mike Triplett in the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
Porter suffered the injury in Sunday's win over the Panthers but returned to the game briefly for the Panthers' final offensive drive.
Porter, who is most known for his interception return for a TD in Super Bowl XLIV, missed four games last season with a sprained MCL in his left knee.
The way we see it
The Saints have not looked like defending champions this season, but the defense has played well for the most part. Porter returned from the injury last season and stepped up in the playoffs. CB Randall Gay and rookie Patrick Robinson will get more snaps in Porter's absence.
