Eagles QB Michael Vick left the team's Week Four game vs. the Redskins at the end of the first quarter due to an apparent injury to his rib cage or collarbone. He was taken to the Philadelphia locker room for X-rays after inhaling oxygen on the sideline.
The injury took place following a long run by Vick. Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall hit the QB on his side as he was being brought down near the endzone. The play was called back due to a holding penalty on ORT Max Jean-Gilles.
Update: Vick will not return with rib and chest injuries.
The way we see it
Backup QB Kevin Kolb, the Eagles' Week One starter who was removed for Vick following a concussion, is under center for the team.
