Falcons QB Matt Ryan has targeted WR Harry Douglas 16 times this season, but the second-year receiver has only six catches for 71 yards. We hear Ryan took the blame in Week Three when he didn't connect on a pass to a wide-open Douglas deep down the field on the first play of overtime vs. the Saints, and observers say the timing between the two players appears to be a bit off. The Falcons are hoping it's an issue that can be taken care of during practice. Douglas missed all of last season after tearing his ACL in training camp, but he recovered and started two of the first three games this year while Michael Jenkins has been sidelined by a shoulder injury. Douglas will likely move back to the slot when Jenkins returns, and the team envisions him playing a Wes Welker-like role. He's dangerous when matched up one-on-one in man coverage and is considered Atlanta's best deep threat.
