Patriots fantasy focus

TE Aaron Hernandez and QB Tom Brady are the best fantasy bets for the Patriots in Week Four.

Two things have been discussed a lot this week: The success of the Patriots' rookie tight ends, and the lack thereof of the Dolphins' coverage on tight ends. That spells out fantasy gold for owners with either TE Aaron Hernandez or TE Rob Gronkowski. Hernandez is posting WR-like numbers through three games. Meanwhile, Gronkowski has been a target when the Patriots reach the red zone.

QB Tom Brady will likely take a note from the Jets' playbook and attack Dolphins CB Jason Allen. Fellow CB Vontae Davis has received a lot of respect through three games and teams are throwing away from him. With each Dolphins' corner staying on his side of the field all night, Brady likely will throw at whichever receiver is covered by Allen, whether it's Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Brandon Tate or Julian Edelman. With that said, it's hard to predict which receiver will rack up the most fantasy points this week.

In the running game, RB Fred Taylor likely will not play and BenJarvus Green-Ellis will likely get the bulk of the carries. Green-Ellis leads the team in carries and yards through three games and has impressed head coach Bill Belichick. RBs Sammy Morris and Danny Woodhead will be the third-down backs.

With all of the weapons in the backfield and at wide receiver, as usual, Brady is the best fantasy bet. If he decides to spread the ball around, like he has, he will collect plenty of fantasy points. Hernandez is next as another good option to start at tight end this week as Brady has targeted him often.
