In his weekly Packers fantasy assessment, Dan Arkush believes TE Jermichael Finley is the most likely Packer to make a major statement in Week Four.
TE Jermichael Finley
After his strong finish in 2009, numerous fantasy football experts believed entering this season that Finley could be on the cusp of a breakout campaign similar to 49ers TE Vernon Davis' outstanding season a year ago. Through three games, Finley has done nothing to discount that belief, improving his numbers on a weekly basis.
Against the Bears on a national stage in Week Three, Finley had his second 100-yard effort in a row, catching all nine of the passes that came his way from Aaron Rodgers and gaining 115 yards. In addition to going up against a very suspect Lions secondary this Sunday, Finley also will no doubt have his game face on going up against Louis Delmas.
The Lions' hard-hitting free safety delivered a cheap shot to Finley in their last matchup a little more than 10 months ago on Thanksgiving Day, knocking the wind out of the Packers' tight end before making matters worse with a celebration that has stuck in Finley's craw ever since. Finley has indicated this week that racking up huge fantasy numbers against Delmas would be sweet revenge indeed.
