Ravens RB Ray Rice told reporters that he will play in Week Four vs. the Steelers despite bruising his knee last week.

"I feel great," Rice said. "I'm sure I'll be ready to play."

The decision whether Rice plays or not ultimately will be head coach John Harbaugh's, and he has yet to comment on his running back's availability. Backup RBs Willis McGahee and Le'Ron McClain would get the bulk of the carries if Rice were unable to go on Sunday.

The way we see it

The Steelers' third-ranked run defense is a tough test for any back, especially one who isn't at 100 percent. Rice seems confident he'll be good to go, but keep an eye on his status leading up to the game.
