Lions QB Shaun Hill will get another start in place of injured Matthew Stafford Sunday at Green Bay, head coach Jim Schwartz said Wednesday, according to multiple media outlets.
Stafford, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2009 draft, suffered a right shoulder injury in the Lions' Week One loss at Chicago.
Hill, 30, has completed 63-of-107 passes for 660 yards with three touchdowns and five interceptions this season. He started Week Two vs. Philadelphia and in Week Three at Minnesota.
The winless Lions are aiming to snap a 22-game road losing streak dating back to 2007.
The way we see it
Hill has had some good moments playing in place of Stafford, especially late in Weeks One and Two, but he has thrown two interceptions in each of his starts. Also, with WR Nate Burleson (ankle) missing most of the last two games, teams have been able to focus on star wideout Calvin Johnson. Hill must avoid many mistakes if the Lions are to pull the upset in Green Bay.
