Fresh off the Cowboys' first win of the season, the bye week is coming at the right time for them. OLG Kyle Kosier re-injured his right knee in the fourth quarter of the Week Three win over the Texans and could miss up to four weeks, according to the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram.
Kosier missed time in training camp with a similar injury and sat out the Week One loss at Washington. He returned the following week and played well, but the team might be missing his services starting in Week Five when the Cowboys return from their bye.
The way we see it
Offensive line play has been a weakness for the Cowboys this season, so losing a starter like Kosier only hurts more. Backup Montrae Holland is a veteran player with 49 career starts, but he isn't on the same level as Kosier.
