Rams RB Steven Jackson left the game and went to the locker room before halftime with an apparent knee injury.

Jackson had 10 carries for 58 yards including a 42-yard TD run before suffering the injury. He was limited in practice this past week because of his knee.

Jackson was attended to on the trainer's table before heading to the locker room. The Rams are thin at RB behind Jackson. When they got the ball inside the one-yard line, the Rams struggled to punch it in with backup RB Keith Toston in the game. He had two rushes for negtative four yards inside the five-yard line. Bradford threw a couple incomplete passes before Josh Brown had his field goal blocked.

The way we see it

The Rams are already without top WR Donnie Avery for the season and Jackson is their clear-cut best player on offense. If Jackson is out for an extended period of time, the Rams will be in deep trouble on offense and their lack of depth behind Jackson will become very apparent.
