Seahawks OLB Leroy Hill will miss several weeks after suffering an injury to his right Achilles tendon. Hill, who missed the first game of the season while serving a suspension, suffered the injury in Week Two against the Broncos.

Head coach Pete Carroll told SeattlePI.com that Hill's "going to be out for a while." Hill has been wearing a protective boot since he was hurt on Sunday.

The way we see it

Hill has only provided distractions for the Seahawks this season with all of his off-the-field problems. He never really had a training camp, is out of shape and now he isn't healthy enough to play. Hill has been injury-plagued the past two seasons and, combined with his legal issues, may see his time with the Seahawks' organization coming to an end.

David Hawthorne, who has taken over Hill's former starting job, led the team with 117 tackles and tied for the team lead with three interceptions in just 11 starts in 2009, so the Seahawks are not losing much with Hill out.
