The Ravens have reached an agreement with LB Sergio Kindle, who had been the final unsigned player from the 2010 NFL draft.
Kindle, the Ravens' first selection and the 43rd overall pick in the draft, is on the reserve non-football injury list after suffering a head injury in July. The linebacker fell down two flights of stairs and suffered a hairline fracture. He is expected to miss the entire 2010 season.
A team press release said that Kindle is expected to sign his contract on Friday.
The way we see it
Kindle's contract is likely incentive-laden without much guaranteed money for a player who is a question mark in the future. If he does fully recover though and is ready for 2011, the Ravens may have a premier pass rusher on the roster. PFW draft expert Nolan Nawrocki called the former Texas Longhorn an, "athletic, explosive hybrid rusher with power and explosion to make a Shawne Merriman-like impact heating up the edges from the outside in a "30" front."
