Our Giants sources don't believe the team is on the verge of a player mutiny by any means. But it's never a good sign when two separate incidents threaten to disrupt the chemistry of the locker room this early in the season on a team that is by no means out of a wide-open division race. RB Brandon Jacobs' Week Two helmet tossing cost him $10,000 and a meeting with head coach Tom Coughlin. Word of a Jacobs trade demand had leaked out, but both sides say they remain supportive of each other with the Giants. Also stepping afoul was S Antrel Rolle, who two games into his Giants tenure openly questioned the team's game plan in Week Two as well as some of Coughlin's scheduling and coaching procedures. Rolle also put blame on himself and the other players, but the damage was done. Coughlin, who also spoke with Rolle about the player's comments, knows how volatile this could be, so we hear there has been an increased emphasis this week on keeping issues in-house going forward as the team enters a crucial stretch.
