Here's a matchup to watch in Sunday's Browns-Ravens game:
Ravens P Sam Koch and PK Billy Cundiff vs. Browns RS Joshua Cribbs
The Chiefs, who surrendered two kickoff-return TDs to Cribbs in a single game last season, didn't give him much of a chance to break a big play last week. Cribbs returned just one of the Chiefs' five kickoffs as Kansas City repeatedly kicked short. The Chiefs' kickoffs traveled 43, 48, 54, 47 and 56 yards, respectively. The Chiefs employed another ultraconservative strategy on punts, with three of their five punts sailing out of bounds.
Cribbs is the Browns' most dynamic playmaker, and the Ravens know this well, having surrendered a kickoff-return TD to him two seasons ago. The Ravens allowed a 60-yard kickoff return to Bengals RB Bernard Scott last week, which set up what proved to be the game-winning field goal by Cincinnati, and they will have to be sound in coverage — and in the execution of their kickoffs and punts — to slow Cribbs, who has 10 career return TDs.
