Here's a look at a key matchup heading into Monday night's Week Three battle between the Bears and Packers.
Bears nickel back D.J. Moore vs. Packers' slot receivers
Green Bay has a vast array of weapons that will line up in the slot, which could force Bears nickel back D.J. Moore to match up with players that will have a distinct height advantage over him. Moore, a second-year veteran, could find himself lined up across from WRs Donald Driver, James Jones or Jordy Nelson at various points in the game, and TE Jermichael Finley — who stands 6-foot-5 to Moore's 5-foot-9 — also could be split out in the slot.
Moore had a breakout game in Week Two, when he made two interceptions in the Bears' win over Dallas. He plays with a lot of confidence, but the Packers have an offense capable of rattling it. We expect to see a lot of Moore on the field on Monday night, as the Bears will use their nickel package often.
