Each Wednesday throughout the season we'll identify one player, coach or area of the team that is most under the microscope. This week, WR Devin Aromashodu is the choice.

Aromashodu went from being the Bears' most targeted receiver in Week One to being on the field for just one play against the Cowboys. Jay Cutler tried to come to the wideout's defense this week, saying Aromashodu's disappearing act had to do with not being 100 percent healthy, not performance. Others, however, have said the reduction in playing time had everything to do with his multiple drops in the season opener followed by a bad week of practice.

This was the year Aromashodu, who has been cut by multiple teams in his career, was supposed to prove he belonged. He hasn't done it yet, and the coaching staff decided to send him a message early on that the Bears can win without him.

That said, he could be right back to being the most targeted receiver again on Monday night vs. the Packers with a better week of practice. It's up to Aromashodu.
