The Vikings have landed a receiver, but likely not the one Minnesota's fans were hoping for.

While Vincent Jackson’s name continues to swirl in trade rumors, the Vikings signed WR Hank Baskett, who was cut by the Eagles this week.

The Vikings are in need of healthy wideouts. Sidney Rice will miss at least the first six games of the season, and Percy Harvin is battling a bruised hip.

Baskett did not catch a pass for the Eagles this season. He played mainly on special teams, as well as with the Colts last season. Baskett is perhaps best known for letting Saints PK Garrett Hartley’s onside kick hit off his facemask in the Super Bowl.
