Vikings head coach Brad Childress said that WR Percy Harvin missed practice on Wednesday with yet another migraine headache.

Harvin's migraines were thought to be under better control after doctors reportedly discovered that he suffered from sleep apnea. A change in medication and treatment was hoped to be the solution.

In addition to the migraine, Harvin has been dealing with a hip injury that forced him to miss part of Sunday's loss to the Dolphins. An MRI revealed that there is no structural damage to the hip; the injury is being a called a strain.

Harvin caught five passes for 32 yards in the first half Sunday before leaving the game.

The way we see it

This week is getting worse, not better, for the Vikings and Harvin. They already were shorthanded at receiver and now might have to force Hank Baskett, who signed with the team and practiced in the same day, onto the field Sunday against the Lions. We'll have more information and analysis as it comes in.
