Here are what some of the Patriots players and head coach Bill Belichick had to say about the Pats' 28-14 loss to the Jets in Week Two:

CB Darius Butler on his brutal afternoon (two pass interference penalties, was beat for a touchdown and a two-point conversion): "You're going to learn every snap, every series, every game you're out there … We're going to learn from it and get better from it. If you're not doing that, you're not doing the right thing.''

QB Tom Brady on the offense's second-half struggles: "We couldn't do anything in the second half. We had a hard time gaining yards there. We didn't do anything on third down and couldn't gain anything on first or second down. We couldn't run it. We couldn't throw it, we just sucked. That's what it comes down to."

WR Randy Moss on his performance: "My job is to go out here and move the ball and score touchdowns, and I don't think I did a good job of that. Regardless of the touchdown, the one-handed catch — my teammates commended me on it — but we didn't win the game. I don't really care too much about it.''

Head coach Bill Belichick on the defense: "Overall as a defense, we didn't do well enough. Allowing that many points is not going to win many games. It wasn't a fancy trick. It was football."
