The Patriots announced their inactives for the Week Two game against the Jets. It includes WR-RB Danny Woodhead, OL Quinn Ojinnaka, LB Dane Fletcher, DE Brandon Deaderick, OT Steve Maneri, OT Nick Kaczur, WR Taylor Price and CB Terrence Wheatley

The way we see it

The two notables are Woodhead and Ojinnaka, two players recently activated by the Patriots. Ojinnaka, who the Patriots traded for in August, was suspended for Week One but will be inactive for Week Two. The Patriots signed Woodhead on Saturday, a possible move of gamesmanship as their opponent today, the Jets, cut Woodhead earlier in the week.

Most importantly for the Patriots is WR Julian Edelman is not on the inactive list. Edelman will provide another weapon for QB Tom Brady against a stout Jets defense. Edelman was inactive in Week One, but played great in the slot in the first week of the preseason.
