Jets C Nick Mangold went into the locker room midway through the third quarter of their game against the Patriots with a shoulder injury.

The way we see it

Mangold, a two-time Pro Bowler, is one of the best centers in the league. It is now backup Rob Turner's job to slow down Patriots NT Vince Wilfork in the second half and create running lanes for Jets RBs Shonn Greene and LaDainian Tomlinson.

Update: Mangold returned to the game to start the fourth quarter.
