Patriots QB Tom Brady did not mince words following New England's 28-14 loss to the Jets.
"We couldn't do anything in the second half," he said. "We had a hard time gaining yards there. We didn't do anything on third down and couldn't gain anything on first or second down. We couldn't run it. We couldn't throw it, we just sucked."
The Patriots gained just 80 yards in the second half after moving the ball with ease in the first half. Brady threw two interceptions, his first picks of the season.
The way we see it
Brady targeted the Pats' best receiver 10 times but Randy Moss had only two receptions and none in the second half despite Jets CB Darrelle Revis in the locker room with a hamstring injury from late in the first half on. Brady was clearly frustrated about losing to the Patriots' division rival after such a convincing Week One victory, not to mention a pretty successful first half.
