The Chargers are on their third long-snapper of the week after agreeing to a contract with Ryan Neill on Friday.

David Binn, who had been the team's long-snapper since 1994, hurt his hamstring in the season-opening loss to the Chiefs and was placed on injured reserve. To replace him, San Diego signed 10-year veteran James Dearth, who snapped for the Jets from 2001-09. But Dearth injured his foot in practice on Thursday and also was placed on I.R., requiring the team to ink Neill.

Neill last appeared in the NFL in 2008, when he was the long-snapper for the Bills.
