With all of the question marks surrounding the Cardinals' quarterbacks, Kurt Warner isn't coming back, despite requests from his former team.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday morning that Warner received numerous requests from former teammates and those close to the Cardinals' organization about making a return.

Warner told his agent Mark Bartelstein that he "was only worried about his posture on 'Dancing with the Stars.' " Bartelstein has called Warner regularly to see if he has wanted to make a return to the gridiron.

The way we see it

Head coach Ken Whisenhunt probably would prefer to have the future Hall-of-Famer Warner at the helm instead of current starter Derek Anderson, especially considering how accurate a passer Warner was. A lack of accuracy is a big issue with Anderson. Anderson is probably better as a top backup, a role that undrafted rookie QB Max Hall is currently filling.
