It looks like the Cowboys will be without their starting right tackle in their season opener this Sunday night. A source told that ORT Marc Colombo will not practice Thursday and is not expected to play Sunday night against the Redskins. He also did not practice Wednesday.

Colombo had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Aug. 16 to remove five loose particles. At the time, Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones said Colombo should return within 10-14 days.

Now the hope is that Colombo will be ready for the Cowboys' home opener Sept. 19 against the team that drafted him, the Bears.

The Cowboys traded for OT Alex Barron in May. Barron started 74 games for the Rams in five seasons and is expected to start at right tackle for his new team on Sunday.

Starting OLG Kyle Kosier is also expected to miss the season opener as he recovers from a sprained MCL in his right knee.
