Browns DL Shaun Rogers could play in the regular-season opener at Tampa Bay, head coach Eric Mangini indicated Monday, The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer and The Akron Beacon-Journal reported via Twitter.

Per the reports, Mangini said Rogers, who missed training camp and the preseason with a leg injury, would practice Monday. Mangini also said that Rogers, who has played nose tackle in his two seasons in Cleveland, could also get looks at end. NT Ahytba Rubin, who has received extended playing time in Rogers' absence, will continue to play even with Rogers back, Mangini said, according to the reports.

In other Browns news, the club announced Monday it had signed WR Jordan Norwood and RB Andre Anderson to its practice squad.
