Seattle traded for Eagles OG Stacy Andrews on Saturday, but lost offensive line coach Alex Gibbs, according to an NFL Network report.

The Seahawks reportedly gave up only a seventh-round draft choice for Andrews, who became expendable when the Eagles traded for Arizona OG Reggie Wells on Friday. Andrews spent only one season in Philadelphia, where he played in 10 games and started two last season.

The departure of Gibbs, 69, was surrounded by mystery. When some players noticed that his office was empty, they were told he was no longer with the team because of "health" reasons. A team spokesman said Gibbs was "worn out."

New Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll had talked Gibbs out of retirement this offseason, calling Gibbs the "guru of the zone-blocking scheme," according to SeattlePI.com.
