The Broncos have released DE Jarvis Green, who was signed as a free agent to help remake the team's front line in the 3-4 defense.

Green signed a contract in March that paid him a $2.5 million signing bonus and a $755,000 guaranteed salary, He apparently was beaten out by his former backup with the Patriots, Le Kevin Smith.

Teams that could be interested in Green include the Browns and his old team, the Patriots, who lost DE Ty Warren to a season-ending injury.
