Looks like Cowboys rookie WR Dez Bryant should clarify his tweet from earlier in the week. Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said Bryant will not play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Dolphins.

Bryant recently returned to practice after nursing a high ankle sprain and tweeted on Tuesday that he would be, "back in action Thursday night!!!!!"

The rookie was one of four starters to return to Cowboys practice this week, joining LB Keith Brooking, SS Gerald Sensabaugh and DE Marcus Spears. ORT Marc Colombo is expected back next week.

During the Cowboys' annual kickoff luncheon Wednesday, Jones said that, "the regulars won't play." The Cowboys have been banged up this preseason and have not looked impressive, especially last Saturday, when they fell to the Texans 23-7.
