Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Tuesday that rookie NT Terrence Cody will miss two weeks after undergoing surgery last week.
Cody, a second-round pick out of Alabama, underwent surgery to repair a torn lateral meniscus in his left knee last week. He is questionable for the Ravens' season opener against the Jets on Monday night, Sept. 13.
Cody was set to back up 11-year veteran Kelly Gregg at nose tackle and could play 20-25 snaps a game, mainly on running downs, for the Ravens this season. Five-year veteran Brandon McKinney is next in line at nose tackle.
"The plus is we have a lot of depth on the defensive line right now," said Harbaugh.
