The Buccaneers will be without CB Aqib Talib when they face the Browns on Sept. 12.
Talib has been suspended for one game and fined an additional game check for violating the NFL's personal-conduct policy. Talib was arrested on Aug. 20, 2009, and was charged with simple battery and resisting arrest after allegedly assaulting a cab driver.
"Since last fall, Aqib has done all that's been asked of him and more, on and especially off the field," Bucs GM Mark Dominik said in a statement. "We look forward to his return to the field in Week Two."
Rookie Myron Lewis, a third-round pick, will likely start opposite Ronde Barber at corner vs. Cleveland.
