On the last day of training camp, the Titans' top pick practiced with the team for the first time since being drafted.

DE Derrick Morgan, the 16th overall pick of the 2010 NFL draft out of Georgia Tech, has missed most of the offseason with a strained hamstring and a pulled left calf muscle.

"It felt good just to get some actual, real football work in, as opposed to just kind of running and conditioning," he said.

In PFW's 2010 Draft Preview, draft analyst Nolan Nawrocki said that Morgan "has a motor that does not stop, and his best football is still ahead of him."

The Titans' pass defense ranked 31st in yards allowed in 2009, and the team hopes that Morgan can help right away. He should get a few snaps Saturday night when the Titans play the Panthers.
