Browns ILB D'Qwell Jackson spoke to reporters on Thursday for the first time since straining his right pectoral muscle on Aug. 10 and said he will not need surgery. Jackson also said there is "no chance at all" he will be placed on injured reserve. He is expected to miss 3-8 weeks.

Jackson missed the final 10 games of 2009 after tearing his left pectoral, which required surgery to repair. He recorded 54 tackles in the six games in which he played in ’09 and has started 48 games in his four-year career.
