Giants experimenting with Bulluck at SLB

The Giants signed Keith Bulluck with the idea that he would be their middle linebacker, but that's not where he might end up. Bulluck, who played only six plays in the team's second preseason game, has been working with the first team in practice at strong-side linebacker ahead of Clint Sintim, who has been there through the start of camp. Sintim was dropped to the second team after having a quiet preseason to date. That moves Jonathan Goff, who started four games late last season and appeared to improve with more time in the lineup. Although it's called the strong side, Bulluck's new position actually is away from the tight end, just as he played in Tennessee. It's not clear if this is a permanent move or just experimentation. There's still the matter, though, of whether Bulluck, 33, is fully recovered from knee surgery in the offseason after suffering a torn ACL last December.
