The Bears are taking no chances with six-time Pro Bowler Brian Urlacher. The linebacker will sit out Saturday night's preseason game against the Cardinals as he nurses an injured calf muscle.

Urlacher, who missed 15 games last season after dislocating his right wrist in Week One, pulled his left calf muscle against the Raiders last Saturday and left the game after the fourth play. Head coach Lovie Smith has said the injury is not serious.

Veteran LB Hunter Hillenmeyer will start in Urlacher's place. Urlacher has missed four consecutive practices this week.
