The Texans' high-powered pass offense will get a boost next week, just in time for the start of the 2010 season. Starting TE Owen Daniels has been medically cleared by Dr. James Andrews to return to practice.

Daniels had 40 catches for 519 yards and five touchdowns last season before going down in Week Eight against Buffalo with a torn right ACL. Daniels, one of the AFC's top pass-catching tight ends, was on pace for a career year.

The five-year veteran out of Wisconsin has been on the physically-unable-to-perform list since July 30 and hasn't practiced since he tore his ACL on Nov. 1.
