When it comes to the Cardinals' depth chart, we hear looks are more than a bit deceiving in the cases of first-round draft pick Dan Williams, who is currently listed third at nose tackle behind Bryan Robinson and Gabe Watson, and second-round pick Daryl Washington, who is listed second at left inside linebacker behind veteran free-agent addition Paris Lenon. "Washington is probably on a faster track than Williams because of the more immediate need for help at his position," said one team insider, who added that he hardly would be shocked if Washington ends up being named the starting ILB along with Lenon in Week One, with incumbent LILB Gerald Hayes considered a long shot to be fully recovered from July back surgery. "I do think Williams will be starting before too long, but Robinson remains very technically sound and has continued to play well."
