Exactly one week after signing veteran OG Randy Thomas to add depth to their interior offensive line, the Dolphins terminated his contract.
The 34-year-old started two games for the Redskins in 2009 before going on injured reserve with a torn right triceps. Thomas has started 143 career games.
He was originally signed when the Dolphins lost backup OG Nate Garner (foot) for 4-6 weeks. Rookie OG John Jerry (knee) also was banged up last week, but is healthy again and seems to have solidified a starting spot at right guard.
