Cowboys SS Gerald Sensabaugh injured his left shoulder on the first play of the second series of the Cowboys' preseason game Saturday against San Diego. An MRI showed that Sensabaugh suffered a subluxation and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks, possibly sidelining him for the Cowboys' season opener on Sept. 12 in Washington.
Sensabaugh, a six-year veteran out of North Carolina, started every game last season and played with a cast protecing a broken thumb. He joins Kyle Kosier (knee), Marcus Spears (knee) and Marc Colombo (knee) as Cowboys starters out for the preseason.
ILB Keith Brooking was also hurt Saturday, injuring his right shoulder, and he might miss the rest of the preseason. First-round draft pick Dez Bryant is also sidelined, possibly until the regular season.
Dallas is hosting Super Bowl XLV and considered a favorite in the NFC East.
