When we asked team sources to select the most impressive-looking offensive player and defensive player in this year's training camp, WR Devin Aromashodu and DE Julius Peppers, respectively, were clearly the most popular picks. Aromashodu, whom WR coach Darryl Drake considers his "third starter" along with Devin Hester and Johnny Knox, had a strong preseason opener with four catches for 78 yards and a touchdown. "Every practice has been the same way," one daily team observer said. "He's been the one constant that you just keep noticing." Peppers, meanwhile, has provided an undeniably huge presence — in more ways than one. "When the players go back and watch film, they're all just amazed by the things he does with his great combination of size and quickness," the observer said of Peppers. "There isn't a day that goes by when he doesn't take (starting OLT) Chris Williams to school at least once."
