QB Brett Favre is practicing Wednesday with his Vikings teammates and will hold a press conference with head coach Brad Childress after the two-hour practice, reports. The practice began around 11:40 a.m.

Favre returned to Minnesota Tuesday afternoon from Hattiesburg, Miss. after his Vikings teammates and friends Jared Allen, Steve Hutchinson and Ryan Longwell went to his home to convince him to return for one more season.

Both Hutchinson and Longwell told media outlets Tuesday night that Favre said he would play this season. Favre had been wavering about retirement again after having ankle surgery in May.
