The Dolphins added depth to their offensive line Wednesday. Miami signed 34-year-old OG Randy Thomas, who started two games for the Redskins last season before being placed on injured reserve with a torn right triceps.
WR Ryan Grice-Mullen was waived to clear a roster spot.
Thomas spent the first four seasons of his career with the Jets and played for Washington from 2003-09. He has started all 143 games he has played in.
The Dolphins will be without OL Nate Garner for 4-6 weeks while he recovers from foot surgery and rookie OG John Jerry has missed time while dealing with a swollen right knee.
