The NFL will not suspend Bengals LB Rey Maualuga despite his guilty plea to DUI in February.
A league source told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Maualuga will be fined two games' worth of pay under the league's personal-conduct policy. One of Maualuga's Bengals teammates, RB Cedric Benson, also avoided suspension for his misdemeanor assault charge last month.
Maualuga crashed into two parked cars and a parking meter on Jan. 29 and received two years' probation. He underwent treatment at a drug and alcohol treatment center in Charleston, S.C.
Maualuga had 63 tackles and one sack during his rookie season with the Bengals in 2009.
