Titans rookie RB Stafon Johnson faces another uphill battle after his right ankle was dislocated and his fibula was broken in a Saturday-night loss to Seattle.
The USC alum underwent successful surgery Sunday, and Tennessee head coach Jeff Fisher said Johnson's recovery time could be 8-12 weeks, although he didn't rule out the possibility that it could be season-ending.
Johnson was injured on the final play of the third quarter when he caught a pass and was spun around by a Seahawks defensive back, forcing Johnson to land awkwardly on his right leg.
This is the second setback for Johnson in less than a year. Last September at USC, a barbell slipped out of his hands during weight training and crushed his neck and larynx, leading to a period of rehabilitation when he had to relearn how to talk.
