Giants getting hit hard at tight end

The Giants are getting killed at tight end. They have lost four of their top five tight ends for various lengths of time to injury, but it also has allowed Bear Pascoe, who was signed off waivers last year, to put his best foot forward. His blocking is his forte, but Pascoe has shocked observers with his receiving in camp. When healthy, Kevin Boss is the starter. But he has struggled with ankle and hamstring injuries and expressed his frustration to the media this week about not being able to play. With Scott Chandler, Travis Beckum and Jake Ballard also missing time, the team temporarily moved OL Herb Taylor to tight end to help out. Expect the Giants to scour the wavier wire for TE help, but they are finding out what most of the league also is: that there are precious few quality bodies at that position who are available right now.
