With RBs Knowshon Moreno, Correll Buckhalter and LenDale White sidelined by injuries, the Broncos addressed their need for healthy bodies at running back, signing Justin Fargas to a one-year deal.
Fargas passed a physical late Tuesday and participated in practice Wednesday morning. He's no lock to make the final roster, but is battling the inexperienced Lance Ball, Bruce Hall and Toney Baker for snaps.
Fargas spent the previous seven seasons with the Raiders. He averaged 3.8 yards per carry last season.
