The Seahawks signed former Colts LB Tyjuan Hagler and ex-Northern Illinois WR Matt Simon on Tuesday. To make room for the two roster additions, the team released CB Chris Richards and waived/injured WR Marcus Maxwell, both of whom had been signed in May.

Hagler played five seasons with the Colts after they drafted him in the fifth round in 2005. He started seven games last season before a ruptured biceps landed him on injured reserve. His best season was 2007, when he made a career-high 54 tackles. The Colts chose not to re-sign him this offseason.

Simon signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent following the 2009 draft and spent one week on their practice squad before being released.

These roster moves raised the total to 120 since head coach Pete Carroll and GM John Schneider were hired in January.
